MAK is me…Margaret Audrey Burns-Kohn and PD is Parkinson’s Disease.
The day I was diagnosed was the day I started my “new normal” life. PD is my ever annoying companion. PD and I play the arithmetic of progression. PD every so often subtracts a function such as balance, tremors, smell, etc…..MAK adds a function such as exercise, mountain climbing, travel, etc. So far I’ve slowed down the subtraction. The places and people we meet on our adventures inspire me to keep adding.
