Earl and I are taking a train trip across country. Starting Winter Park Florida to Portland Oregeon.  We have roamed through Washington DC where we had enough time to wander around the capital and have breakfast with my brother and his wife Leslie. I have not seen my brother for 6 years so you can imagine we had a lot of catching up to do. In Chicago we were in awe of the buildings. From Chicago the train takes us through the Dakota ‘s, Montana, Minnesota , Wisconsin , Washington into Oregeon. The landscape has beenunbelievably beautiful. I am in awe of this country. Rockies mountains majestic, Columbia Gorge, Mnt Hood incredible. Along the way have met interesting characters. At times feeling like being a character in a book. From being harassed by a crazy heckler in DC, to young and old knitters on the train, two college students with zero social skills, computer geeks, flip phone users and musicians…..what a interesting story this has been.

What I have learned from my train travel buddy Parkinson is that time change has caused somewhat of a interruption of how effective my medication performs however, when I look around and see how all the other passengers walk on a moving train, they all resemble me and my buddy Parkinson during our off switch.
